it's no secret that the dutch are the best at everything. including living. the new york times magazine recently published this wonderful article, which includes a brief history of the netherlands, along with a few cues we might take from that intoxicating place.

just in case you missed it, mine that bird took first in the kentucky derby yesterday at 50-1 odds. it was the second biggest upset in derby history. the horse i picked finished 19th. that's out of 20. wink!
