this post was originally going to be about how academy award winning director bill condon has signed on to direct the final installment of the twilight series, breaking dawn. that is the one where (spoiler alert) edward and bella have rough sex and he has to bite their baby out of her and the climax battle is actually an anti-climax where both sides basically agree not to fight. so good luck with that project bill.
but. what i discovered is that according to some unreliable internet sources, bill condon is supposed to be directing a biopic about Aaliyah. can you just imagine. this needs to happen. its not imdb, and has been erased from wikipedia, so it may be all bullshit, but who knows. maybe someone can start a facebook page to make it happen. just look what good that did for betty white.

Who in their right mind would cast Angela Bassett to play Aaliyah? She looks nothing like her, can't play a 17-22 year old, and when was the last time you heard her sing?
I'm not discredting her acting skills because when it comes to that she is one of the best. But just because she is black, and played Tina Turner in her biopic, doesn't mean she can play Aaliyah!!!
