this weekend kylie and starla and i were enjoying some beers and sun and tunes on the roof in brooklyn. this song came on kylie's itunes genius playlist....

...and made me wonder, whatever happened to babyface, the r&b / pop producing powerhouse from the 90s who seems to have disappeared from collective consciousness.

just look at all these h2d hits. its like karaoke heaven.

turns out babyface is on tour right now, in support of a solo album released this year that no one cares about. tour dates are mostly scattered about europe and japan (where presumably he is still wildly popular) and some museums and casinos in the states. Biloxi, Atlanta, Oakland, Grand Prairie, Texas... ctm

green lantern movie

UPDATE: they picked ryan reynolds. i guess no one cares that deadpool and the green lantern cant be the same person. geez louise.

there are rumors flying all over the internet about who warner bros has short listed to star in their upcoming super hero movie about the green lantern. at first i was real confused because i thought seth rogen was already confirmed for that movie, then i looked into it a little further and realized that he is supposed to be in a green hornet movie (directed by michel gondry!!).

so that leaves me with the question, who is the green lantern? also, who do you want to play him? justin timberlake, ryan reynolds, bradley cooper? reynolds is supposed to be making a deadpool movie based on his character from wolverine, and bradley cooper is so hot right now after the hangover, so i would guess its going to come down to him and justintime.

i was just watching kelly rowland sing on so you think you can dance, and i remembered back in the day when i had never heard of lady gaga and she performed just dance on the show.

i looked it up so i could share it with you and we could all remember together.

omg will you get a load of this ridiculous creature? it can barely control its body!

apparently, this sea lion, nicknamed snoopy, was reported to have been running around the ocean bitin' on kids' trouser legs, and just being mischievous in general. the police hauled him up on board for a good spanking when he tried to hijack the boat. he even honked the horn!!!
