two of peter brant's sons were profiled in one of the magazines that he owns. interview.

did you know that peter 2 is going to bard? he wants to take acting classes. i almost made a list of all the 2pz favorites that went to bard, but then it got too long and too many of them don't like being talked about on the internet. harry, the little one, is still in high school but he lurves furniture and the court of kyoto.

'sgo raptors!

After managing to beat Vassar College twice over the course of 26 games from 1988 to 2011, the Bard College men's basketball beat Vassar for the second time in 35 days on Tuesday night, edging the Brewers, 56-55.
Back on Jan. 10, Bard senior Matt Shubert hit two free throws with three seconds left to beat Vassar, 59-57, in the Raptors' Liberty League debut at Vassar. On Tuesday night, believe it or not, Shubert provided the winning points again. (via)

rhodes scholarship UPDATE: BARD WINS!

Patrick Witt's loss (both to harvard and in life), was Ronan S. Farrow's (bard class of '04) gain as the Raptor went on to win one of the prized scholarships.  Not unlike friend of toops, Nscience, Ronan graduated from Bard when he was still a teenager. At the time, Ronan was known as Shamus. Congrats fellow Bardian!

oh yea, he's also Woody Allen and Mia Farrow's son, nbd.

coooooornhole: beanbag edition.

Inspired by the warmth a few weeks ago, A-ron and I built cornhole boards.

First, we sanded and stained

Then, we printed out images and traced them with carbon paper.

Then we painted two of the most beautiful college logos of all time and laquered the boards to seal the images. The result, two gorgeous cornhole playing surfaces, and hours of fun.
