1) this guy rescued a wonderful australian puppy (aka kangaroo) from a rip tide in shark infested waters. includes interview and video of the rescue

2) this guy is a vet that does surgery on frogs and saved the life of one named victoria who was run over by a lawnmower. the frog survives, but turns out a little worse for wear. includes pictures of the frog surgery.
