the past 3 weeks of new york magazine have featured crosswords created by someone OTHER than 2Pz fave, maura b jacobson.

has anyone seen her lately? i'm concerned. judging by this photo (and a fact i just learned, that her first new york times sunday puzzle ran in 1955), she's gettin' up there in years.

i just really hope she's alright. and i did'nt mean what i said back then. i was bored and depressed, and in desperate need of someone to take it out on. please forgive me. come back, maura!

Boats and Rocks

When I went walking in the park today I was amused to see a boat that somehow ended up on U Thant's Island. Somebody was drunk and/or stupid and got their fancy boat all marooned and junk. It was not there yesterday, and I wish I could've been in the park to see it when it happened. I snapped a few blurry pictures with my BBerry to share with y'all. This reminds me; buy your tickets for the Booze Cruise!
