she is giving out a free download on her website of the title track for her fans.
additionally, unlike some other notable albums of the summer, the release date has been moved up to August 31st.
beyonce vs kelly clarkson
did you hear the one about the co-writer named ryan tedder from one republic who sold Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson the same song with different words? this kind of thing does happen in the music industry from time to time, but im most impressed that Kelly is going on radio shows talkin' 'bout how pissed she is. isnt she afraid beyonce might say something back to her ass? kelly also goes on to describe how she called ryan to cry about it, and is mad at her record label for releasing already gone as a single.

ikea not a complete diaster
when it was announced that ikea would build it's first nyc store in brooklyn, experts and residents were concerned that an influx of automobile traffic would overwhelm the otherwise quiet red hook neighborhood. however, traffic studies conducted since the opening are showing that things are in fact better than most expected.ikea took great care to implement alternative ways to get to the red hook location, including buses, water taxis, and shuttles. these measures seem to be working. the brooklyn eagle has a full report.

friday night, my atlanta trip got postponed, so i hopped on up to east nashville to see 2Pz friends and yallstarz, katie and ben! you probably know them. they were grillin' up a storm.

yellow yellow confounds the park ranger
so. there is this contraption that campers and people who dont want to share their food have been using out in the great outdoors called a BearVault. it is supposed to be impenetrable, and so far those claims have been proven accurate. until Yellow-Yellow. she is a mild mannered 125 pound middle aged black bear that lives in the Adirondacks, and she is probably smarter than most of the people you know. just look at this diagram of her antics, then read the nytimes article about how much trouble she is causing.LOVE. HER.

i asked my brother craig to give kismet a kiss from me for his birthday, and this is what i got. all i can say is that i would have been a little more into it.
