a "mr. good burger" from roxie's grocery. 

it's two hand formed patties with american and hoop cheeses, four slices of deep fried bacon, lettuce, lettuce, tomato, a ton of grilled onions, pickles, mayo, and mustard on a buttered bun.

 here it is pictured (credit ilm) as a combo with fries, but you aren't going to want those.

it feels like a heart attack in your hands.

what's for lunch: don't be jelly

my work team made lunch a treat at "Say Cheese!" the UWS grilled-cheese restaurant.

we had a sampling of their DELICIOUS sammies

we all tried alittle bit of:

Gruyere/Swiss/French Onion/Sour Dough
Gruyere/Candied Bacon/Peasant Bread

Swiss/Parmesan/Truffle/Tuscan Bread  

Swiss/Gruyere/Apple Compote/Tuscan Bread

Smoked Gouda/Fig/Peasant Bread

AND

Mac and Cheese with Candied Pork Belly and Pickled Watermelon Rind

AND

a s'more; roasted m. mello, covered in g. cracker crumbs with a pipette of h. chocolate.

now i have a stummy-ache but it was worth it.

Melissa: we decided to celebrate yesterday & today. and just so you know. she ate bacon for breakfast
and steak for dinner
Melissa: she also ate or participated in eating 2/3rds of a bag of oreo cookies

that sounds like such a wonderful first birthday for a puppy, doesn't it?
