I was the one who threw the beer, he was really drunk the first beer we threw he caught one handed like a ninja. The second one he didn't have quite as much grace it hit him right in the chin. lady binder fact check.

Everyone is having a good at laugh over Mitt Romney's "binders full of women" line from last night's debate, but given our current obsession with fact checking it's no surprise that there are also questions about whether the binder story is even true. David Bernstein of The Phoenix in Boston got a post up last night questioning Mitt's recollection of events. According to Bernstein, the mythical binder did indeed exist, but it was given to Governor Romney by outside activists and not at his request.

A group called MassGAP put together the list in 2002—before Romney was elected governor of Massachusetts—as part of an overall effort to push to get more women into senior leadership positions in state government. They say they approached Romney with the binder as he was putting together his cabinet, not the other way around. (via)

LOS ANGELES -- Renaldo Woolridge, a son of former NBA player Orlando Woolridge, will play for Southern California next season.

The forward is set to graduate from Tennessee this summer with a degree in sociology, but was granted one more season of eligibility after being limited to eight games because of an ankle injury during his junior year.

Woolridge averaged 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds playing in 25 games last season for the Volunteers. In three years at Tennessee, he started 20 of 93 games. The 6-foot-9, 215-pounder is from Sherman Oaks, Calif. His father played 13 years in the NBA, including with the Los Angeles Lakers.

USC coach Kevin O'Neill says Woolridge can play multiple positions and will make an impact in the one year that he's eligible. (via)

The Susan G. Komen foundation has reversed its position on Planned Parenthood, and will continue funding the organization after all, issuing a statement that apologizes "for recent decisions that cast doubt upon our commitment to our mission of saving women's lives." The move comes after a week of online protest over the news that Komen would end a grant to Planned Parenthood to provide mammograms. It was not a move that Komen took lightly. The Atlantic's Jeffrey Goldberg unearthed memos from December that show how the Komen foundation instructed its employees to "obfuscate the issues when confronted with questions about why Komen cut off funding to Planned Parenthood." The letters outline "updated eligibility requirements" that include changes in tax-exemption status and loss of federal funding, among other things. (via)
