if you were on the IOC and were asked to select the location of the 2016 Olympics based solely on the merits of the candidate city logo design, which would you choose? Keep in mind that Chicago has had two tries, their first was rejected for breaking the rules.

if i was in charge, i'd tell them all to go home and try again. that being said, of these elementary choices, i'd say madrid because it reminds me of a high five, or rio for recognizing the failure of the olympics rings to incorporate the most beautiful color in the world, orange, and using it anyway. go vols.
Disagree. Rio used yellow. Chicago got some orange in there. And it's America. Go Vols. Go America. Chicago wins.
that ain't yellow. and i don't want the stupid olympics over here. it never looks very good when americans do it. as evident in that ugly chicago logo.
Chicago's logo is the best because you see elements of the city right in that logo...of course the six-pointed star comes right off the city's flag...the orange at the top evokes the Great Chicago Fire, in the green you think of its magnificent park system and the blue could symbolize the waters of Lake Michigan.
It clearly best represents the city for which it was designed and is head and shoulders above the rest.

thats no ribbon...thats the pinned-up hair of the samari-symbolically showing they are going to kill us all while we are there.
yea, the knot is whore-rendous. rio's looks like a AAA travelguide book and makes me barf, why did Madrid go with the Matrix font?? Chicago didn't even try. They were like "we already have this logo made up for something else...just slap it above the rings". I vote for NYC!
I like Tokyo, because what the hell is that thing.
