my favorite glee club, the new directions, won their sectionals last night on tv. they did such a good job. you can watch it on hulu if you are so inclined.
now we only have to wait 4 more months until they start to gear up to take on those vocal adrenaline rascals in regionals.

"A gay assassin, there's nothing hotter than that."
--Rihanna, on her ideal movie role.
she also just got a new tattoo at east side ink. Along her collar bone it says "never a failure, always a lesson" written backwards so she can see it in the mirror. so right.

UPDATE:
The magazine quotes Harvard astrophysicist Jonathan McDowell, who identifies it as the failure-prone Bulava ballistic missile, launched from a submarine. McDowell said the Russian Navy is in the right geographical position to launch it. He added that Russia has denied that it was their missile, but "this could be because another Bulava failure is a huge and embarrassing setback for their programme." (via)
thx g!
does anyone want to explain this?

this song and its animal-centric lyrics have been bringing me lots of joy this week.
i'm kind of in love with this band. the postal-service-ness makes me want to restrain myself, but the sufjan-esque banjo use tells me to go on ahead and let my heart soar. there's no album yet, but if you like this, you can hear a lot more songs here.
