Chapter Two - Thursday June 18
After laying down the logo backgrounds on each board, I x-acto'd another stencil for the white inner portion of the Pred. As I didn't have any normal white paint, I had to use spray paint, which not only ruined the stencil but bled extensively under the stencil over my previous work. Unforgivable.
So I had to whip out a tiny lil hobby brush for clean up.
After covering up the white over-spray, I cut out a third stencil for the inner blue areas of the Pred. This time I applied the paint with the hobby brush and the outcome was a lot cleaner.
In the meantime, whilst letting the logos dry, I applied the six inch stripes down the centers of each board. On both boards, the two unpainted border stripes will be white.
And this is where I left off on Thursday.
Stay tuned for Friday and WkNd work!

while in willamsburg last night, we were explaining trust fund kids to our guest, rachel. then, we went to an ATM in a deli and found THIS.
i bet some hipster is really feeling the sting of that $1.75 atm fee.

it was raining again, but g.animalz and i went on out n-e-wayz to see other 2Pz fave, PhOeNiX! just like i told you i would!
i'm not going to sugar coat this. it was 11 gd biscuits. i know what you're thinking. "you think everything is 11 biscuits." but i'm serious. it was really really good.
for starters, you haven't lived until you've heard an indie music sensation thank you for your support with repeated merci beaucoups. it was just adorable.
this was a really fun part where they sang this crazy ass song in a robot voice!
doesn't the drummer look like carlton from fresh prince? he was really awesome.
here's a youtube of their opening number, 'listzomania'.
the last song of the encore was their hit, '1901'. it was tons of fun. they acted like the song was over, but then the lead singer jumped down into the crowd and kep' on singing. we huddled around and jumped up and down and i got a beer to the face and g.animalz touched him!
what a treat. the end.

Spotted ... "Gossip Girl" star Leighton Meester having sex with her BF... on video.
We've learned a Meester tape is being shopped around town. It was shot a few years back, and shows Leighton in mostly innocuous though nude scenes -- with several big exceptions ... one involving her very talented feet. (tmz)

wikihow to paint some pimp cornhole boards, pt.1
Hey yaw, so, since becoming youple I have been spending my time on various projects around the house, some unmentionable, some totes pimp. Most recently, I've undertaken the renovation of our beloved exposed plywood cornhole boards with a steezy Nashville Predators paint scheme.
Chapter One - Wednesday June 17
I began with a base coat of spray paint, one board blue, the other yellow. Next, I applied the background of each logo using a predators stencil printed by ben on billable paper. The base coat exhausted my spray paint, so I had to run out da sto' to snatch up some traditional paint to finish the job (notice the yellow was a bit brighter, the blue a tad blue'er).
Stencils removed, this was where I left off on Wednesday.
Stay tuned for Thursdays efforts!
