Come Sunday, Feb. 7, Tebow will already be on the Super Bowl telecast. That's because Tebow and a faith group, Focus on the Family, will be debuting a 30-second commercial that utilizes Tebow's own life story to make the case that abortion is wrong. (via)

ugh. ;(

time to panic!!!!

We're getting reports that a possible gas leak and/or explosion has prompted the evacuation of buildings in Brooklyn Heights near Borough Hall and Court Street. According to some reports, at least five manhole covers have blown, and subway stations at Borough Hall and Court Street in Brooklyn have been evacuated and closed. (via)

2Pz dictionary

while in boston this weekend, a new phrase was inspired by the friendly and welcoming nature of the city's natives. new yorkers are sure to love it!

bEaNbAgZ
(n.) douchebags from boston (beantown).

feel free to spread that around.

we're terrible!

everyone take note:

2Pz has converted our number one fan and arguably the number one person, dj valdini, into our new boston correspondent. everyone give him a BIG welcome. he'll be helping to deliver tales from our recent boston adventure, and to add a fresh new perspective to your daily life.

you're welcome!

nope.

New York Times Chairman Arthur Sulzberger Jr. appears close to announcing that the paper will begin charging for access to its website, according to people familiar with internal deliberations. After a year of sometimes fraught debate inside the paper, the choice for some time has been between a Wall Street Journal-type pay wall and the metered system adopted by the Financial Times, in which readers can sample a certain number of free articles before being asked to subscribe. The Times seems to have settled on the metered system. (via)

What's for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner: Boston edition

Y.M.N.K.T. but Kylie, G. Animals, and 2pz friend Liz came to visit me in Boston this weekend. Here is what we ate!

For Breakfast:

Everything! Pancakes, Bacon, Scrambles, Bagels with CC, Grapefruit, OJ, Milk, and a Box Of Coffee! Made in my kitchen

For Lunch:

We went to one of the oldest Pubs in Boston it's called The Green Dragon. It was supposed to be a snack but the portions were pretty huge i give it 8 biscuits. We were being meanmugged by a couple of bean bags, and our waitress wasn't fantastic but the food was pretty good.

Kylie: Chicken Quesadilla, and a Sam Adams Boston Lager (when in Rome)

G. Animals: Veggie Quesadilla, Side of Veggies (natch) and a hot toddie.

Liz: Revolutionary Buffalo Chicken, and a Magners Cider

DJV: Nachos (natcho!) and a Magners. They went a little overboard on the onions. but otherwise pretty good.

LATE NIGHT!

After hours of dancing in the clerb, we went to Hi-Fi Pizza in Central Square. always 11 Biscuits

Liz: Pepz
Kylie: Plain
G. Animals: Mushrooms (natch)
Other Dave: Pepz

It was pretty good.
