And you think Michael Vick is bad...
Well you might wanna take a look at those Tennessee Vols. Thanks New York Magazine and ESPN for bringing to my attention again, what thugs UT Football players are.
Leonard Little, Dwayne Goodrich and Donte Stallworth - all former UT players - are people killers. Yes dog fighting is inexcusable, but so is murder. And you thought UT only produced architects?? Nope they also produce a bunch of foolios who drink and drive and don't care about others safety.
And while I am here, I would like to say that the wonderful University of Georgia is the best school in the SEC. Not only do they have the best colors (honestly, this fact cannot be argued K no matter how much you try), they also have the cutest football coach ever! Mark Richt is H2D! And what about the mascot Uga you ask? He is too cute. I just want to cuddle him. Sitting there on his pack on ice, cheering on the dawgs as they kick ass on the field.
US Open Update
Maria Sharapova just dominated a cute little Bulgarian in her first round at Arthur Ashe stadium. Her tennis was good, but no one could stop talking about her outfit. She helped design the dress with Nike, and wore Frank Gehry earrings from Tiffanys. She said her inspiration in designing the garment was.... architecture!!!

im pretty sure i wasnt allowed to watch this when it came out, then i watched it anyway when i was spending the night out and it scared me a lot. now i love this movie and was so glad to see it on tv today. also it was hillary swank's first feature film appearance.

apparently construction has started in london on this new project by renzo piano called the shard.
im surprised by how unappealing, and unnecessary this project seems to be. renzo is a master architect and craftsman, but this building is just not beautiful.

consequently, it happens to be the MTA for once."For months now, City Councilwoman Letitia James has been agitating for the MTA to rename Brooklyn's Hoyt-Schermerhorn station — where the music video for "Bad" was filmed in 1987 — in honor of Michael Jackson. She's even starting a petition. But the MTA has callously denied her request, since there are currently no guidelines for renaming stations and because "Hoyt-Schermerhorn" already has such a nice ring to it." (via)
