creepy

Brazilian design graduate Jorge Lopes Dos Santos has developed a way of making physical models of foetuses using data from ultrasound, CT and MRI scans. He developed the project in collaboration with a paediatric cardiologist at Imperial College while studying on the Design Products MA course at London’s Royal College of Art. Jorge Lopes Dos Santos hopes the models, which are made using 3D printing techniques, can be used to train doctors and to help with emotional support for parents whose child may be born with deformities. i'm sorry, michael k...

...but true blood is one of, if not THE worst show on television. the writing, dialogue, and acting is atrocious, and their laughable attempts at southern accents make my skin crawl. the show doesn't deserve the millions of viewers it has collected, let alone an aWaRd!

at any rate, congrats to excellent shows 30 rock, the office, big love, dexter, mad men, kathy griffin, antiques roadshow, etc. for your well-deserved emmy nominations!

sookie!

weather prediction as sustainability

as many of you know, i can predict the weather (and sometimes even control it). it's really not that hard. all you have to do is look up at the sky every once and a while and use your brain. it seems that google has stumbled upon this technique, and they're employing it as an energy and cost saver in their data control centers.

captivate word of the day: ctm
