GAY!!!

but who cares

go listen to this

Over the weekend, the Internet flipped its shit over a leaked MP3 purporting to be Britney Spears's long-lost demo for "Telephone," a song Lady Gaga had originally written for Spears (who ultimately declined to use it) before recording it herself. There's some debate over whether it's actually Britney — we have listened and it's either her or the robot from Forbidden Planet — and it's pretty awful, but regardless of its authenticity or quality, it's definitely the best thing Britney's done in years.

go to nymag and listen.

I have got to start

reading this blog before going to the trouble of writing posts about bears.

Nashville got Katrina'd

the normally cute and charming little cumberland river has gone wild and is wreaking havoc all over this place. (note from the image above, the river is at 51' right now). the area got more than a foot of rain over the course of two days, so things got real messed up.

42,000 customers lost power in the Nashville metro area.
