the 4th hour of the today show
i've never watched the real hoda + kathie lee on the today show before, and caught them for the first time this morning. i was amazed at just how accurate kristen wiig is. also, there's a really important message starting at 3:01. she's right about them being perfect.

look out for the hipster grifter!
Within the space of a half-hour, Ms. Ferrell was peppering him with questions about his sexual history—how many women he’d slept with and so on. “She was coming on to me, and I was super into it for the first part of it,” he said. “I realized I could have fun after work—but then I was like, ‘Let me check this girl out.’” He Googled her. Up popped a photo of his flirtatious new co-worker on the Salt Lake City Police Department’s Most Wanted list, wanted on five different warrants, including passing $60,000 in bad checks, forgery and retail theft. goodness gracious
here's a really well-written article on a fascinating topic:
KINGSTON - Representatives of some hospitals revealed that more men have been fracturing their penises in recent months than any other time in Jamaica. Checks with urologists in some of the country's major hospitals have revealed that the "noticeable increase" in the number of cases where men fracture their members is largely attributed to the men's obsession with daggerin', aka rough sex. (barbados' leading newspaper)
have some gd self respect, barbados.
thx g.

EAST BETHEL, Minn. (WCCO) ― Their cat slipped out of their East Bethel home and was on the run for two years. The family gave up hope of ever seeing Bob again. Then, just a short time ago, they were reunited by an Internet phenomenon.
youtube tryouts
So, after all the buzz about the YouTube Symphony Orchestra altering the audition process forever, after months of interactive computer chat about the world’s first collaborative online orchestra, after 96 winning players were selected from among the more than 3,000 musicians who submitted audition videos and were brought to New York for a group summit and Carnegie Hall concert, how did the YouTube Symphony Orchestra finally play? things i wish i had thought of
this morning i was reading my favorite website and homepage nymag.com and came across these two blog links.
both serve specialty interest groups, and both fall under the category of things i wish i had thought of.
1) look at this fucking hipster. obviously a new york blog, this guy takes candid pixies of hipsters in their natural environment (the subway and the street mainly) and then makes fun of their outfits. it almost writes itself.
2) pre-durst. this one is another no brainer. music videos from our adolescence that we may have forgotten. its always awesome to be reminded and relisten.
what is kismet doing?
answer: i swear i dont pose him like this. he just loves to sit in my lap and type with his little paws. he isnt very good at spelling, but i can usually tell what he wants to say.
keekerz speakerz
sebastien tellier is pretty fun. this video proves it. once you get past the half-naked ladies, there are some interesting hot dog antics. and here's another good one.
and i keep coming back to great lake swimmers. i think i like them.

Grizzlies
here is a recap of my awesome night with my mom at the grizzlies game. it was the last game of the season, we were facing off against the Hotlanta Falcons. i was taking mad pictures so i could come back and share the experience with all of you.
here is minor local celebrity and former american idol contestant alexis grace. she sang the national anthem and it looks like she is being given the key to the city or something stoopid like that. i asked mom how she would rate her performance and she said B-.
this is the extra special VIP floor lounge. everything is free can you believe it! i had a mini hamburger, garlic parm french fries, 3 hotwings, and a bud light... all for zero dollars. the girl who asked for my ID when i was getting my beer had the same birthday as me. what a lark.
this is former assistant coach now head coach of the university of memphis josh pastner, minor local celebrity. it appeared that he was the guest of grizzlies general manager chris wallace. he was announced during a break and recieved a standing ovation from the hopeful crowd.
this is what happens when they announce the memphis grizzlies. that is FIRE.... coming off the basketball goals. there is really dramatic music and light flashing and when they say the players names, the whole place goes up in flames. AMAZING.
this is a good view of our bomb ass seats. on the floor, behind one other row of seats. hot2death2themax. the grizzlies ended up winning making the whole thing all the sweeter.
he does dance tricks and basketball tricks and shoots t shirts into the crowd during breaks. but that doesnt even begin to cover his greatest trick, overcoming cancer. i mean it.
right here in the row directly in front of me were minor local celebrities and food network stars, Pat and Gina Neely. she smelled like sweet flowers, and he loved to jump up and cheer when a basket was made. so cute and very enthusiastic. if you havn't watched their show, its really great.
one of the best parts of going to a game or event at the forum is pouring out of the beautiful arena and finding yourself on the crunkest street in the world, Beale Street.
this night, we were blessed to witness bikes on beale, and the street was crawling with biker dudes and dudettes and there were motorcycles of all shapes and sizes all over the place.
thanks for the tickets mom!
