nymag blew the lid off an a-gay secret society within the musty depths of condé nasty. they call themselves the majority, and only allow other condé gays to join (they wouldn't even let anna join, as if she would want to). they're exclusive, uniform, hypercritical, and power obsessed; it's sort of like every college fraternity you've ever heard of, except less mutual masterbation.
tim murphy interviewed one loose lipped gay-jority founder, and he was not afraid to ask the hard hitting questions. here are some highlights with my commentary added in red:
tm: who are the top five condé gays? andré leon talley and who else?
a-gay: i'm not going to point anyone out. [of course not, racist]
tm: are the majority gays tops or bottoms?
a-gay: do you really think I'm going to comment on that? i have no idea. [o.y.r.]
tm: maybe mostly bottoms because they're so in control and stressed out all day, then later they just want to lie back and let someone else do the work?
a-gay: [pause] I don't think you could make that correlation. [ocyc]
tm: where do you see the majority going?
a-gay: we've actually talked about doing a little community service. [spare me, you self indulgent little shit]
tm:like bringing last season's gingham to the housing works stores?
a-gay: that might be something we'd do...
