2Pz movie review

i watched robert altman's 1975 film entitled nashville this weekend, and i just really liked it. the only reason i watched such an ancient movie was because of that alluring title. knowing hardly anything about robert altman, it took me a while to understand if it was supposed to be funny or what, but boy, was it!



it was like a chris guest movie but more subtle, and the orignal songs were just great. they were written mostly by the cast themselves, which is really something. here's a great scene with sueleen gay, who doesn't know she can't sing, and just gets by on her sexy dance moves. her voice reminds me of kristin wiig in the baby hands sketch.
