Residents from the squatters community of San Juan, east of Manila protest against the demolition of their shanties during demolition operation Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in the Philippines. Hundreds of residents fought back with stones to resist demolition of their shanties which was done to allegedly pave the way for the construction of a new city hall of San Juan.
