brb outside : friendly fires!
last night, g.animalz and i went to see a recent 2Pz fave, friendly fires at le poisson rouge. i've come to really like this venue, and would rank it my new second, behind music hall of williamsburg, jicyww. n-e-wayz, the show was 11 biscuits!!!!
despite a horrible opener (this was their best song) and a long-ass sound check before (due to technical difficulties) and a severe lack of AC-per-capita, they band came out with a million apologies and proceeded to put on a great show. their enthusiasm was fantastic, as if they wanted us to see how happy it made them to be entertaining us. if you guys have a chance to see them, i'd strongly recommend it.
