so....it's pretty much explained in the clip, but apparently sometimes beyonce doesnt sing live. from the howard stern radio show, here is the recorded "sound booth feed" of her today show performance. you hear what is actually coming out of her mouth and into the microphone, while the audience is hearing a pre-recorded track.
i think it's pretty clear that she could sing her a off whenever she wants to, she just doesn't want to. ok?

Michael K has posted that it is a fraud ... idk. My guess is that if you are singing and know the audience can't hear you, you wouldn't be perfect..... I mean, April Fool's was awhile ago ...
