this is a beeeaaautiful jellyfish. i learned that they raise sea monkeys in the back and that's what they feed the jellies!
they had one of those underwater tunnels. it was 100 feet long.
the aquarium has 4 whale sharks. this is trixie, she's the biggest one. that's also one of joel's nicknames.
this is nico, one of the aquarium's three beluga whales. he was a real showboat, i'll tell you what. it all made sense when i found out he was on loan from the new york aquarium in bRoOkLyn! represent, nico!
these were called go-vols fish. i promise...it's science.
omg this ridiculous creature was my gchat picture for a while, but i never knew what it was. turns out...its a leafy sea dragon!
that's a piranha and it WILL eat you.
they had this petting tank...with sting rays that you could reach in and touch. i touched one! it was really slimy and sometimes i could feel their skeletons which made me stm.
you could also touch these sharks. but only a two-finger touch. they kept saying that. "this is a two-finger touch." ctm.
and finally, here's a video from the river otters tank. they were playing with a piece of carpet. isn't it just like georgia to give the otters some trash to play with?
i had so much fun at the aquarium! if you want to see the rest of my pictures, just click on this.
