nErD aLeRt!

philadelphia firm kieran timberlake just won the design competition for the new US embassy in london. it's going to cost a billion dollhairs, but is totally worth it, because it comes with a moat.

some other notable american firms submitted designs as well. wanna see?

which one do you like best? not that it even matters. and check this out:

The British architect Richard Rogers and Peter Palumbo, a British arts patron and chairman of the Pritzker Prize, submitted a “minority report” in which they told the United States State Department — which commissioned the project — that the design was “not world class and was unfit to represent the U.S. in Britain.” (via)
