well, of course we need to address the most obvious thing. here's rihanna's collaboration with ex-bf / abuser chris brown. i heard on hot 97 that they're actually back together. both this news and this re-working of 'birthday cake' are disappointing. i had high hopes, but this extended version is underwhelming. that being said, i'm sure i'll still be dancing to it at the 6th annual international cornhole tournament. (it's coming....)

Here's a review of Jay-Z's show last night at Carnegie Hall. i was going to go, but then the Voice was on and tickets cost thousands of dollars.

over the weekend, jay-z and beyonce finally popped that thing out. her name is blue ivy carter, and jay-z has already recorded a song about her, featuring some of her babeyonce noises.

the internet speculates that the name represents jay's fave color something about "the blueprint" and the roman numeral for 4, (IV), which everyone knows their lucky number.
