me: im all for helping animals and letting people die....but its not going to happen by changing fish to sea kittens
john: i love animals too. i've tried vegetarianism, and i nearly starved to death. i eat less meat. but i'm not going to dedicate my life to something like that when i look homeless people in the eye on my own street and keep walking.
just seems like disproportionate concern to me
