nymag has a new sports section, and they really hit it out of the park with this article on the shabby state of new york public tennis.its like the last frontier of sports, as players bully and complain their way onto courts, and the "managers" do little to nothing to maintain control.

the us open makes me want to play, but i shouldnt have to schlep to prospect park to play tennis.
