so last night, lillywhitefish told me she was reading a book called
the glass castle, and that she thought i would like it. that reminded me that i
am in need of a new book.
i just finished reading
the ghost map. it's about the 1854 cholera outbreak in victorian london and its influence in urban planning and social mapping and stuff. it's a strange topic, and was a little gross, but i learned
a new phrase that really grosses john out, so totally worth it. i would give it 8 or 9 biscuits.
one of the books on my to-read is
dead-end gene pool, written by a descendant of cornelius vanderbilt, whose family, the burdens, was rich, but messed up. it's supposed to be real funny, i guess. i also still have to read the third stieg larsson book,
the girl who got stung by a bee, or whatever. unfortch, both of these are still only available in hardcover, and i have a real problem buying those.
so. while i wait for lilly to finish her book, and for the other two to come out in paperback, do you have any suggestions for me? what are you reading or have you read? just tell me everything.
maybe i should just read
chelsea chelsea bang bang. it has chunk on the cover, after all.
