Le1f got a record deal
SPIN favorite Le1f has signed with XL Recordings in a joint venture with Terrible Records, the label co-run by Grizzly Bear's Chris Taylor. A proper album is in the works, but first we'll be treated to the Hey EP, which will include a re-recorded version of the man's beloved breakout "Wut" (the one with the video starring those Pikachu studs), along with four brand new songs. The first of those, "Boom," can be heard below in all of its left-field "Southern Hospitality"-recalling excellence. Dubbel Dutch lends his production prowess to the darkly popping cut, while beats for the rest of the March 11 digital release (May 6 for vinyl) come from Matrixxman, Harry B, and Boody (remember "Soda"?). To date, the man born Khalif Diouf has released three praise-worthy mixtapes: Dark York, Fly Zone, and Tree House. In a statement, Le1f called working with XL "my teenage dream." via

willow plays in a leaf pile
i just typed the word "pile," then looked at it, then deleted it because it looked wrong. does that ever happen to you? sometimes i try to spell "of" like this: "ove" i don't know why these things happen. additionally, i never spell "exercise" correctly the first time.
what words do you have trouble spelling? tell me in the comments.

Slippery Rail Conditions May Cause Train Delays
September 29, 2011
Autumn’s falling leaves and wet weather have the potential to cause “slippery rail delays,” an age-old problem that affects all railroads in the Northeast and other parts of the world where deciduous trees are prevalent.
Slippery rail condition occurs when falling leaves are crushed by train wheels. The decaying leaf material creates a slippery, oily residue that coats the rails, resulting in poor traction for trains.
Slippery rails can make it difficult or impossible for the steel wheels of a train to maintain traction and operate normally. This condition is similar to the wheels of an automobile on a sheet of ice; the tires may turn but, without traction, the car won’t go very fast. Unfortunately, a train that encounters traction problems is delayed and can cause delays for the trains behind it, as well.
Doing Our Part
NJ TRANSIT aggressively fights slippery rail conditions with several countermeasures, including:

Doing Our Part
NJ TRANSIT aggressively fights slippery rail conditions with several countermeasures, including:
- Deploying AquaTrack, our high-pressure rail power-washing system that runs along the tracks
- Tree trimming and leaf removal near rail lines
- Strategically spreading sand on the rails in advance of peak periods
Despite our best efforts, the combination of wet conditions following the leaf-fall period may result in traction problems and delayed trains. As a result, customers may wish to allow extra travel time when traveling during the fall season.

i went to fishkill pumpkin snatch, and all i got was a ton of cute little gourds for less than two doll hairs
after getting s2d at letchworth village and gorging ourselves on chicken boxes and tots at sonic, the gang (see if you can remember all five nick names, no cheating!) went to fishkill pumpkin snatch for some apple cider, (no one had any gay-ass cider) pumpkin picking (no one picked any pumpkins either) and some chicken petting (petted the F out of some chickens). feast your eyes on some hudson river valley splendor :
UPDATE, chickens :

if you ask me, jizz devil is getting a little too familiar with that pumpkin. how gauche!

there they are!

by now you're probably wondering, "what means of conveyance did you use for this trip?" well, go buy a hat, and get ready to hold the fuck onto it, because we had one sweet bitch-in-heat ride. look at those m-f-ing complementary colors. damn.

i went to letchworth and all i got was my throat slit.
this weekend, the whole gang went up to letchworth village to do some ghost peepin'. everyone was there, (from left to right) sabertooth crotch cricket, shit toast, jizz devil, and hymen pincher (butt honey not pictured).
the pitchas are a little small, so chuleek to enlarge.
you might be asking, 'what's letchworth village?' it's simple really. back in the 1930's, the state of new york decided it needed a home for all the pesky feeble minded and epileptics runnin' loose everywhere. so they created one, and nestled it in the scenic hudson river valley. it's been abandoned for quite some time, and is now a place for people to practice paintball, the graffiti arts, and pooping...oh, and of course the undead.

we toured the power station, as well as two buildings on the letchworth campus, a housing unit :

and the main hospital building :

they seemed to have an excessive amount of dentist equipment in the hospital building, as well as other strange plumbing fixtures :

kylie, liz and i found the much anticipated blood room. those are just someone's brains splattered all over the wall. ceyute!!!

the library in the hospital building had been burned to a crisp.

oh look, some bones! someone must have had a bar be que in here during the summer! i love bar be ques.

this picture is from a catwalk in the power station. i know...it's pretty high up. you might say one would have to be INSANE to go up there. but seriously, it was pretty safe.

while in the power station, we decided to take some album cover shots for our new band '30 seconds to mars.' what? that name is already taken? shoot!

by the end of it all, lilly and i were in love.
