As the commander-in-chief, doesn't Obama have the power to overturn DADT without having to go through congress and military leaders? He should just do it. I feel like he's setting it up to blame someone else if it doesn't go well in the approval polls.
the president can't repeal a law without congress. he can issue an executive order halting the discharge of soldiers, but then sarah palin can undo that order when she assumes the presidency and destroys the country. that's the problem.
