rihanna was awesome on SNL twerking her new album (which comes out next week). there is even some internet hysteria going around concerning the green screen background graphics in her and azealia banks' new work.

are these shoes racist?

some internet commenters decided that these shoes are racist because of some imagined resemblance to slave shackles. they caused enough of a stink that adidas has cancelled production of the ridiculously expensive shoe, and now their fun has infringed upon my fun.

+ rihanna is supposedly in the running to star in the new bodyguard reboot. depending on who you listen to, beyonce, jennifer hudson, rihanna, taylor swift, and miley cyrus are all being considered. didn't i post about this like a year ago? who can remember! we should wait and see how battleship turns out before we rush to make ri ri rachel marron.

+ rihanna and ciara had a brief internet feud. ciara threw some shade ri ri's way on some e! news fashion show, and rihanna responded via twitter. she made some comment about how ciara basically doesnt have a career anymore, then they patched things up.

+ rihanna also took to twitter to ask her fans what her next single should be from LOUD. i think its time that "complicated" was given some attention.

+ congrats to ri ri for becoming only the fourth artist in history to amass over a billion youtube views. can you guess the other three?

did you hear the one about the co-writer named ryan tedder from one republic who sold Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson the same song with different words? this kind of thing does happen in the music industry from time to time, but im most impressed that Kelly is going on radio shows talkin' 'bout how pissed she is. isnt she afraid beyonce might say something back to her ass? kelly also goes on to describe how she called ryan to cry about it, and is mad at her record label for releasing already gone as a single.
