Michael Bolton and Mark Mangold (the keyboardist from Touch) wrote "I Found Someone" in 1985 for Laura Branigan. A few years later in 1987 Michael Bolton was working with Cher on her comeback album after a hiatus from recording to work on her film career, and they re-recorded the song. It ended up being a hit for Cher, and Laura Branigan ended up working with David Hasselhoff on a song for the Baywatch soundtrack and dying alone in bed at the age of 47. Later on in life, Michael Bolton recorded his own version. Mark Mangold did too but I can't find it anywhere. My question to you is...WHO DID IT BETTER?

someone made a bad decision
a passenger snuck a crocodile onto a regional turbojet in the congo and didnt live to regret his decision. the croc bit his way out of the sportsbag he was stuffed into, then ran amok in the cabin of the plane freaking out everyone. the panic on the small plane shifted the weight balance causing the jet to spin and crash into an abandoned house. there was one survivor. the crocodile survived too, but was killed with a machete during the rescue attempt. bad choices. via.

independent redesign of the new crap logo.
after the gap went and ruined their logo, which everyone was perfectly happy with, blog ISO50 sponsored an independent competition to come up with a new redesign (competition runs through 10.13.2010, so you can still enter!).
this is obviously the front runner:
i can appreesh the sarcastic approach :
i think this is a successful and subtle approach at updating a classic :
this is a nice example of how to age and cheapen a brand at the same time. makes me think of fossil in the 90's :
i actually like this logo, but gap would need to be an oil company for it to work :
looks like a logo for a convention center. barf :
kylie thinks this one looks like the REI logo, and i agree. gap doesn't sell ski coats!
what is this, an iphone app? get fucked :

i think there is a CLEAR choice to make here

i cant imagine cheering for any of these disasters, with one notable exception. that bear is CUTE!
i think it was a big mistake to put the landshark in a greg norman hat. and the hotty totty reb looks like a roided out baseball player. the commercial appeal has a little more information about this shit show.
