joey: well i spent a summer here before that. 3 months in 06 bitch
john: non-consecutive. doesn't count.
joey: i'd say i spent 5 years at penn state...but it was non-consecutive cause i went home over the summers...except for 06 when i went to NYC

Looks like pouty vampire heartthrob / Twilight star Robert Pattinson is headed to Brooklyn Heights. In-between sequels to the bloodsucker blockbuster, he’s shooting a flick called Remember Me, which is being called “this generation’s Love Story“.

Steven Holl Architects have completed Linked Hybrid, a mixed-use complex of eight linked towers in Beijing, China. The project, which was last week named Best Tall Building 2009 in the Asia and Australia category by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, comprises apartments, a hotel, cinema, kindergarten, school, underground car park, commercial zones and a public green space. typical s-hole.

one for the roof, please.

Now that summer has finally arrived after a very April-like June, my thoughts have turned to water. In my book, there’s nothing like a dip in the ocean but when that’s not a possibility there’s almost always a pool somewhere nearby. But what about when that’s not the case? I was mulling this over last week when my friend, Steve Macdonald of Ramblin’ Worker, dropped me a line to tell me about some pool parties he had heard about in Brooklyn that he thought I might be interested in checking out. google OS

SAN FRANCISCO — In a direct challenge to Microsoft, Google announced late Tuesday that it is developing an operating system for PCs that is tied to its Chrome Web browser. The software, called the GoogleChrome Operating System, is initially intended for use in the tiny, low-cost portable computers known as netbooks, which have been selling quickly even as demand for other PCs has plummeted. Google said it believed the software would also be able to power full-size PCs. (nytimes)

am i the only one who thinks google chrome isn't really that great?

i love television

especially NYC Prep which jaime and i watched in excess last night. the best part of the show (any show) is the slow edging out of the closet of PC. it is fascinating television, and Bravo deserves multiple emmys for their editing. additionally, read this article from ny rag about whether or not reality tv characters are ruining new york, or visa versa.
