well one of them had a seizure or a drug overdose or something and the police responded and they shot the guy's dog because it was snapping at passers by and basically protecting his owner's body. The dog, named Star is not dead, so don't worry.

this grate at grand central was throwing up after that freak rain cloud yesterday. it got on people! i have heard it from a confidential source that someone walked through this trash water puddle and then went to thomas wilhelms house and put their feet up on the coffee table. true story.

Snooki -- the decorous and well-marbled star of Jersey Shore -- is pregnant. Earlier this month, she denied being with child but she apparently has since brokered an Us Weekly cover to announce the news to the glossy magazine-buying world. The father is Jionni LaValle, her TV boyfriend of 18 months. She's reportedly three months along, and according to Page Six's source, MTV is "in crisis mode" because they're worried it "greatly affect the creative direction" of a planned spin-off she's supposed to star in with fellow Jersey Shore alumnus Jenni Farley (née JWoww) which was supposed to be heavy on libations and brief, pointless threats. That format is obviously going to have to be tweaked if there's a newborn involved. Or maybe not, you never know. (via)

last night the protesting went completely off-the-fucking-rails. i watched some live coverage on rachel maddow, and folks were running around beating each other up, throwing molotov cocktails, and just generally burning shit to the fucking ground. there were tanks driving this way and that, shooting out smoke screens for people to escape under. the military was firing "warning shots" every 15 seconds. shit got real real, real fast.

in related news, thomas wilhelm and i thought it might be fun to organize a similar-style protest of the law that was passed in nyc yesterday banning smoking in parks. i'm thinking union square. wanna come? will you pick up some alcohol and bottles and rags? k thx.
