raise your hand if you think this is true.

An Australian tabloid is claiming that "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson has knocked up his onscreen and rumored real-life girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.

An "insider" quoted by Australia's New Weekly says, "When [Stewart] worked out she was late, she obviously started to thinking that she could be pregnant. And because of the timing, she thinks Rob could be the father." (nydn)

Memphis Mayor W.W. Herenton is now "delaying" his previously stated plans to retire on July 11. I can hear the collective roll of the eyes coming from Memphis all the way from here. this guy blows.

dont forget to peruse the 250+ comments about this article.

what is kismet doing?

probably trying to save our lives so it would seem.

apparently there are some bio-detection dogs that alert their owners to dangerous health episodes.

"The dogs got their owners' attention by barking and whining, licking, nuzzling, jumping on top of them, and/or staring intently at their faces. A small percentage of the dogs reportedly tremble in fear at the time of a hypoglycemic attack"

ZOMG. Kismet did all those things to me. was he trying to tell me something? could he smell death on me? i need to go to the hospital immediately.

smart woman, smart answer

ny mag culture vulture found julie white (who i loved on six feet under) to ask her about her current gig (shakespeare in the park) and her previous gig (transformers: revenge of the fallen).

they asked her about the robot racism that i touched on in my review, and in her answer she said: "I can't be the apologist for that big, damn movie. I had nothing to do with that."

haha.

lance armstrong (one ball)

did you know that lance armstrong is back on the bike in the tour de france right now? i didnt know. but it looks like he is winning! go lance.

if i was a bike rider, i would be so pissed that lance armstrong is back. he makes everyone else look like phil mickelson.

death race, opinion

nytimes has this article about the "death race" in vermont. its this creation of riddles and memory quizzes and physical endurance meant to test the limits of the participants.

"The course spanned 10 miles of mountain trails, ravines, lakes, underbrush and a burnt-out thicket known as the Labyrinth. The physical challenges included digging holes, chopping wood and hauling encumbrances like bicycles, tree stumps and buckets of gravel. The riddles included naming American presidents, assembling Lego structures from memory and cooking without modern tools. Each of the 14 tasks was expected to take two hours. A 24-hour time limit was set. Mathematically speaking, the designers considered their course all but impossible."

i hate everyone who enters this race. and i guess that patrick halley loves all of them. watch the video.
