tragedy struck today when someone threw a ham at paula deen's face!!! when i find out who's responsible for this, there will be hell to pay.

While tossing hams and turkeys, a misguided thrown ham hit Deen in the face, but that didn’t sideline her from the topic at hand.

"I think it might have hit maybe just right where, I thought it busted my lip, but it didn't," said Deen.

While Deen managed to escape visible injury, she did say the area around her nose hurt.

"I just got hit with a hog so what do I expect said Deen through laughter. "Ran head on to a hog." (via)

i don't know how to sugar-coat this... so i'll just say it.

i loved new moon!
11 million biscuits!!!

that being said, i only felt this way after my second viewing last night. upon first watch, i was a bit disappointed. i felt that the tonal qualities of twilight had been lost with the new director, and many bad decisions had been left in their wake. however, i had a wonderful time watching and thought that overall it was a lot of fun and an adequate sequel.

the second time around, i found that i took much less issue with the intricacies that had bothered me before.

here are a few more specific thoughts:

k-stew tore it up. superb acting.

jacob's muscles, obvi.

those wolves!!! they were awesome!!! especially their cute noses! RAWR!!

jessica stanley's stand-out performance

fave part: the victoria hunt scene with thom yorke's track. h7d.

all the men looked like beautiful ladies (jasper, jacob w/ long hair, billy, the volturi, etc.)

SPOILER ALERT!

i die. new moon was three times as good as twilight. it was five times better than the book. i wanted to turn around at 3am and watch it again immediately

1) jacob is so lovable... and his body is perfect

2) edward should keep his shirt on

3) the special effects are still mediocre

4) bella isn't as annoying as she was in twilight

5) dakota fanning: "PAIN!" ctm.

6) edward and bella are terrible for each other. all they do is disappoint each other and mess with each others heads. ugh. bella should totes switch to team jacob. a faithful companion with abs

7) my one problem with this movie : not enough emmett
